in Mersin Maria Sezer wove the figure of a female dress called Nevin’in Entarisi, Nevin, a girls name has the meaning of a new life. Entari being an oldfashioned word for dress indicates the new dress that spring dons to nature. The work was woven during the spring with natural materials typical for the surrounding of Mersin. It contained material from both the spring and the autumn before in the form of seeds, this was in order to symbolise the continuation and cycle of life
