SU!=PIRILTI? WATER!=BRİGHT?

The Dutch Pavillion at the 3. International Contemporary Arts Festival by fabrikart-grup, Mustafapaşa, Cappadocia, Turkey

Broom streams / Katırtırnağı akıyor

This installation was made for the Dutch pavillion at the  3rd
MustafaPaşa  Contemporary Art Festival in Capadocia. The theme of the
exhibition was WATER=BRİGHT. The installation was made of branches of
the Broombush and blue pigment. It uses the wavelike shapes of the
broom. These waves hint at the past when the brom was alive and the
future   when these woods disintegrate. In the past during their live
the broom kept water in its body, after dying the wood will
disintegrate and finally become part of the water of the world again.
